Are you about to return your rental vehicle somewhere close to the airport? Are you wondering how you should do it? Then you should know you aren’t the only one. Almost every Car Rental Company Antigua accepts vehicles dropped off at the airport by their clients. After all, it makes things easier for them because they have to catch a plane to return home.
Airport returns
Just like most other cities in the
world, most people pick up or leave their rental vehicles at the airport of
Antigua. Now, the first thing you need to know is that there are two types of
car rental services offered near airports – onsite and offsite. Large airports
have a mixture of the two. Car rental companies operate within airport grounds,
but the size of the airport may determine whether you have to take a tram or
shuttle bus to get to the terminals.
Returning the car
An onsite rental is the most
straightforward option, of course, as most major airports will have road signs.
They point drivers in the right direction. A few rental agencies also share the
space. Naturally, you can expect to encounter at least three to four different
providers. At the busier locations, attendants will be ready to identify the
vehicle and check for damages, mileage, and more items once you get to the
return lane.
Offsite
Unlike Car Rental Antigua Airport returning, offsite returns will be a bit
further away from the airport. It shouldn’t be much of a problem, though. You
only have to add the time it takes to reach the airport so that you won’t be
late for check-in. For offsite returns, most rental companies will probably
provide a shuttle service to the airport.
After-hours return
At times, you’ll need to check-in for an early or late flight. What will you do if you have to leave the rental car off at a time the agency isn’t open for business? Just make sure you inform the company long before you take the car to the drop-off point. Someone will surely be there to pick it up.
